Innovation Center Planned for Downtown Sioux City

City of Sioux City: A new innovation center will soon be coming to Sioux City to help entrepreneurs succeed. Located at 308 Iowa St., the three-story center will feature a coworking space, technology and innovation labs, meeting rooms, and more—all under one roof.

This project is a partnership between the City of Sioux City, Western Iowa Tech Community College, KWIT-KOJI: Siouxland Public Media, and Iowa's West Coast Initiative, working together to spark innovation and collaboration across the tri-state region.

SCI: The Science Center of Iowa recently opened a groundbreaking new traveling exhibit—Artificial Intelligence: Your Mind & The Machine—that explores the fascinating and fast-changing world of AI. Through hands-on interactives, visitors of all ages will learn how smart machines work, how they “think,” and how they’re shaping the way we live, learn, and connect.

NewBoCo Receives Grant for New Aviation Technology Center

The Gazette: The New Bohemian Innovation Collaborative (NewBoCo) plans to lead the development of the Iowa Aviation Technology Center, aligning with a statewide effort to establish Iowa as a competitive hub for aviation technology and talent. The project was awarded a $200K grant by the Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA).
